Cast Iron Star - 6 inch with Hook

Architectural stars like these were originally used to hold steel rods in the walls of buildings...they were called stress bolts or earthquake bolts!!!  Next time you're around some older brick buildings, take a look and see if you notice any iron stress stars bolted into the walls...you'll probably find some right away.     

Each Iron Star is cast in a mold, just like the originals were years ago!!!  The stars are then left outside and allowed to rust naturally.  Each star is given a satin clear coat to seal the rusted finish.  Pictured here is a 6 Inch Cast Star with a coat hook...you can order any quantity you like.  We also offer 9 inch and a 6 inch Cast Stars.
