If you've been in our gallery or have snooped around this site at all, you can see that we like art that is inspired by vintage ads or other Americana!!! These works are a feel good for most people...and many times they also act as a memory trigger in the viewer that brings back a happy time or association.
Brace yourself, because this time it's personal. As young kids we used to walk down the Railroad tracks to our local Putt-Putt. Dollar Day was on Monday and we could play all day for a buck!!! If we had the extra money we would always eat right next door at Dairy Queen and no matter what, you always got a DQ Cone!!! This is all true by the way...we were extra normal kids. (So, what happened?)
This print is a high quality giclee on heavy weight paper, so the colors are especially vibrant. To frame this quality print...we chose a heavy black molding with a half round profile. The result is a cool retro piece that's very Pop Art at the same time.

Conservation Reflection Control Acrylic...Much like standard Conservation Clear Acrylic, this glazing blocks 98% of all UV light. In addition...hot spots from interior light sources or sunlight are diffused to soften unwanted glare. If you plan to hang your artwork where glare is a problem, choose Conservation Reflection Control Acrylic.
